CONNECTED offered this training opportunity to our network members…

We fully funded two places on a bioinformatics course in Sweden. on two occasions. The first course was in January 2020.

‘Bioinformatics’ took place from Monday 20 January to Tuesday 24 March 2020 inclusive, at The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, Uppsala, Sweden.

CONNECTED fully funded all course fees, travel, accommodation and subsistence for two applicants.

Preference was given to network members based in DAC-list countries. The funding body that the CONNECTED Network receives funding from stipulated that full-time students were not eligible to apply. Part-time students were eligible if they also had an employment research contract with their organisation which extended at least until the end of the course.
