Plant Health: How The CONNECTED Network is Building Capacity in Sub-Saharan African countries

A two-minute animated film summarising the value brought to Sub-Saharan African countries by The CONNECTED Virus Network has been launched.

The film focuses on:

• the Network’s capacity-building through training and research funding
• enabling networking between researchers, and
• the importance of the continuation of the Network.

It was made in collaboration with The University of The West of England (UWE), created by animation student, Sam Maxwell, and narrated by Pereko Makgothi.

This is the third successive year that CONNECTED has worked with UWE staff and students to create a short animated film.
