We are happy to be welcoming Christa Muller to the CONNECTED Network Team for a year as our Executive Assistant. Below she tells you a little about herself and what brought her here…

Firstly, I am delighted to be joining the CONNECTED network team, thanks for bringing me in!

Following graduation in Japanese Studies I spent a few years studying and working abroad in Asia-Japan, China and Cambodia. Since my return to the UK, I have steered my working life towards the higher education sector, I think in part because I love being in a learning environment and having students around!

At Reading University, I worked within an International Department and more recently at the University of Oxford my role was to support a Doctoral Training Programme for NERC funded Environmental Research students.

I love nature and the outdoors and have an interest in the environment. In combination, these things have drawn me to the CONNECTED EA role, working with CONNECTED already feels like a worthwhile project to be involved in; I look forward to working with you all more in the coming months.

On my non-working days, I do a printmaking course at Spike Island on Mondays and I volunteer at Windmill Hill City Farm on Thursdays with an animal care for wellbeing group.
