Brand new film: our virus and vector diagnostic course

The CONNECTED network is delighted to unveil a brand new film, made about the training course organised by CONNECTED in association with BecA-ILRI Hub, in Kenya in March 2019.

Nairobi-based film makers Re-tuning Cinema in Africa made the seven-minute movie, which features interviews with a range of delegates who attended ‘An introduction to virus and vector diagnostics’, a five-day fully-funded course which drew together 19 delegates from 10 countries (Benin, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia) at BecA-ILRI Hub in Kenya’s capital city.

The film also includes input from Dr Goncalo Ramalho E Silva, from The Natural Resources Institute, University of Greenwich, UK, who taught much of the course that week, and from Jacob Mignouna, Director of BecA-ILRI Hub.

You can watch the movie in full on our website’s videos page or on the CONNECTED Vimeo channel.
